Candace Hutson, a professional encourager, is a dedicated academic success coach and college-planning consultant. She not only strives to help students become their best selves academically and personally but also assists them and their families with creating the maps for their college careers.

Growing up in South Jamaica in Queens, NY, Candace faced arduous situations early in her life, including having no money, being homeless, and being a teen mom. While such circumstances would prove debilitating to some people, they didn’t stop Candace from pursuing her goals. Equipped with her faith as well as the love, encouragement, and support from her family, she faced obstacles head-on and never surrendered. In 2003, she completed her college education at Howard University, becoming a first-generation graduate.

From her positions as an academic success coach and college-planning consultant to her charitable activities in the community, Candace continues to thrive and spreads encouragement to those who need it. In addition to her role as a professional encourager, Candace finds fulfillment in being a loving mom to her three children, whom she refers to as her “3 wonders of the world.”
